We’d wager that you’ve already eaten so many pancakes that you’re feeling a little ambivalent to the idea of gluttony right now. This is a very well-timed way of getting your egg on during the warm up to Easter (or Lent, as it’s traditionally termed) without having to eat a thing. The Lindt Big Egg Hunt is back in London, and more than 100 giant, colourful eggs will be nestled in and around Covent Garden from today (February 12) until Sunday. Follow instructions on the eggs to enter a daily draw to win a year’s supply of Lindt chocolate and if you win you have permission to switch back to glutton mode. All money raised from the event will go to Action For Children.

The eggs will be in Covent Garden until Sunday February 17, and then back again from March 22-April 1 following their UK tour. Find out more at thebigegghunt.co.uk.
