Professor Green

Here’s an exclusive picture of Hackney’s very own rhyme-spitting star Professor Green, on his way to visit his cousin Newington. If you’re wondering why he’s hanging off the back of an old Routemaster, here’s the simple answer: he’s playing a show in a secret venue on Saturday March 23, to celebrate the fact that you can now pay for bus travel in London with your contactless card. Unfortunately the venue probably isn’t an actual bus, since there are 280 tickets available and your average double-decker has a capacity of about 80. Unless he’ll be performing on the roof of one of those open-top tourist buses, that is – you read it here first… You can win a ticket on this magical mystery tour by registering with Barclaycard on Facebook before March 15 – that’s this Friday. And we’d like to congratulate the Professor on finally managing to grow that beard he’s been working on for so longJames Manning
