Easter weekend is a traditional excuse to get out and about – but this is on the premise that it should also be a tad warmer. It isn’t, so perhaps staying inside for frivolities makes more sense. Sir John Soane’s Museum on Lincoln’s Inn Fields could be just the place to fend off the frostbite. This treasure trove of Soane’s keepsakes is hosting Easter fun times a tad later (from April 3-11) so you can extend the Bank Holiday vibes for a bit longer throughout the week. There’ll be jewellery, amulet and badge making classes inspired by Roman, Egyptian and Greek objects in the collection. Drawing and print sessions are also on the agenda. If anything, these events are a good excuse to have a good old nose through Soane’s amazing array of possessions and to stay nice and toasty warm. Tickets will be popular so book now. Adam Bloodworth
