This Sunday (April 7), E5ers get crafty with a jumble sale in the airy MKII gallery space in lower Clapton. Stop by after midday to enjoy a shopping fair with a definite hipster feel about it, with vintage and second hand clothing stalls hosted by fashion types, a pop-up Sunday cinema and refreshments served by The Fork and Corset (think scotch eggs, peanut butter and jam cups and other nostalgic bites). The whole affair will be soundtracked by Tin Tone Army, a jangly collection of local types playing Motorhead covers on handmade tin guitars. If you’re keen to look into the future, there is a tarot card reader in residence – if you spot her, ask her when spring is going to get here, would you?
White Smoke Pop-Up Market will be open on Sunday, April 7 from 12pm-6pm at MKII 71-73 Powerscroft Rd, E5 0PT.
