We’re big fans of candid tube shots, be it dogs in seats, people doing make-up or people falling asleep on strangers. The artist Ewing Paddock has gone one step further and re-created a tube carriage in his London studio so he can paint passengers in everyday poses without them having to get up to give a pregnant person their seat or get off to change lines. His aim is to paint fifty scenes in total and he’s definitely making tracks. Jude Brosnan
