You could barely move for all the well-heeled ladies and cool art kids at The Dairy’s grand opening on Wednesday night. And what else would you expect when a new art space opens in the capital? Milk-based cocktails aside. Frank Cohen, hailed as the ‘Saatchi of the North’, has teamed up with the young Danish collector Nicolai Frahm to transform this former Bloomsbury dairy into an exciting new not-for-profit art space. So if you’re in the mood for some bright, sparkly, drippy and musically accompanied art by Swiss artist John Armleder, get down to the Dairy. No milk money required: it’s all free.
