Streets of Spain festival - La Boqueria Market

No trip to Barcelona would be complete without a trip to the city’s iconic food market La Boqueria. Packed with colourful veg, glisteningly-fresh seafood and cured meats all meticulously arranged, it’s a great place to enjoy the sites, smells and tastes of Catalonia’s capital city. This May Day bank holiday weekend (3-6 May) some of the traders will be heading to London to tout their wares at the Campo Viejo’s Streets of Spain festival. There will be Spanish cooking masterclasses, live art demonstrations and a pop-up tapas restaurant. Entry is free.

To find out more, or book tickets for the tapas restaurant, go to southbankcentre.co.uk and check out streetsofspain.com to book a place on the Spanish cooking masterclasses.
