Bear Grylls hasn’t got anything on Tower Hamlets’ very own foraging expert Terry. You can learn from the wild food man himself as he takes you round his favourite haunt, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, to pick and forage food for your dinner on Saturday May 4 at 10am. The day-long event begins with a cup of wild plant tea, and after you’ve rummaged through the dark corners of the park, he assures us that you’ll be able to cook a delicious dish from your findings.

Tickets are priced at £50, which is a fair bit to pay to be running around a cemetery trying to avoid stinging nettles. But there’s something much more exciting about being involved in every part of your meal, rather than just shoving your Dinner for Two from M&S in the oven.
