When James Jarvis’ designs for Amos Toys put him at the forefront of what some people called the ‘soft vinyl designer toy revolution’, he became the master of a toy empire. Just like Robin Williams in that film… you know… ‘Toys’. But now he’s focusing his efforts on illustration, with an exhibition of freehand airbrush drawings.
Featuring the same character throughout, a little dude called Sphere, the images are all about our very own urban environment, with the little circular guy pushing blocks through the Southbank skate park and various other gritty, modern landscapes.
