There’s never a dignified person in the room when an ice cream van hurtles merrily past a window, so the thought of the much revered Ben & Jerry’s on wheels is maybe too much to stomach. Ben & Jerry’s Core Tour has been up and down the UK for the past couple of weeks, hitting major cities to deliver its wondrous pun-riddled treats for a second year, celebrating the final push in our humble capital.
Barns of icy delights will pop-up in Covent Garden, Spitalfields and Riverside Walkway, as local bands and talent will serenade you chomping on Ben & Jerry’s new flavours; Peanut Butter Me Up and Blondie Brownie. If the wordplay holds up to the ingredients, we’re vetoing all other foodstuffs until further notice. The Ben & Jerry’s wagon will be hitting town on June 7 and staying all week, so you don’t have to just have an ice cream Sunday. The event promises to be.. legendairy. It’s fine, we were just leaving.
