If you’re the kind of person who can’t walk past a butchers shop without wincing and wouldn’t dream of eating a fish if its sullen face was still in place, then it’s time to click away from this blog post. But if you eat everything but the squeak, then keep reading. Nose-to-Tail Fortnight from the Ethical Eats network is in full swing at the moment and there are some offally good events taking place. Heart, liver, head and sweetbreads, you’ll be able to get your fill during the Fortnight as eateries such as Roast, the Duke of Cambridge and Nopi are celebrating unusual cuts (read the full list here.)

Ever imagined eating veal tacos out of a surgeon’s box while sipping on a ‘Urine for Trouble’ cocktail? Neither had we, but that’s what the bright sparks behind the Head, Shoulder, Veal and Toes, Veal and Toes veal supper have planned for their event (June 12 and 14, tickets £38.50). Other events include Neck to Knee lamb eating in Camden (Jun 12 and 13 £57.75) and a Dexter cow feast from 2 Dinners 1 Lunch in Peckham (June 14, 15, 16 £41.80).
