Discover the secret life of cats

Posted at 1:30 pm, June 12, 2013 in TV

Ever wondered what your cat gets up to when it’s not snuggled up on your lap? It might be better that you don’t know, but this BBC2 doc is a great idea all the same; via GPS and collar-cams, it tracks a bunch of Surrey moggies as they go about their bird-pounding, mouse-bothering, territory-making business. As it turns out, the cats of Shamley Green are pussies – we think they missed a trick by not tracking some hardcore city cats whose lives are presumably more edgy. But still, it’s great fun even if you’ll never look at Tiddles in quite the same way again.

‘Horizon: The Secret Life of the Cat’ broadcasts on Thursday June 13 at 9pm on BBC 2. Got you purring? See what our Timeout reviewer thought.
