Tired of dancing dogs and tear-jerking, heart-wrenching, mind-numbingly crushing fabricated montages of contestants’ struggles? If so, you may want to vent that frustration at The Real Debate Club’s latest event, ‘Britain Hasn’t Got Talent’. In association with Standon Calling music festival, The Real Debate Club will be taking over Ex BBC HQ Marylebone Gardens tonight (June 14), with some cabaret and dancing thrown in for good measure. Their debates are always staged in an environment relevant to the topic in question; previous events have included debating the welfare state in the Old Vic tunnels, creating a Dickensian feel to immerse people into a time when the Welfare State didn’t exist and hashing out justice and rehabilitation in an old prison building. If the others are anything to go by, this should certainly be a lively evening.
Tickets: £6.00, for more information and ticket sales please visit their website.
