Dalston House, Leandro Erlich

Renowned Argentine tri-mensional visual illusionist Leandro Erlich, has been up to his usual mind-bending trickery, this time fooling folks in Hackney with his latest installation, Dalston House.

The installation resembles a movie set, with a fake Victorian terraced house taking centre stage in Erlich’s illusion. But this time, the building lies across the floor horizontally, with a mirrored surface positioned overhead at a 45-degree angle. By lying, sitting or standing on the fake buildings surface, you’ll see an image of yourself scaling the house through the mirror’s crafty reflection.

Dalston House will be taking up residence at 1-7 Ashwin Street near Dalston Junction until August 4. For more info, see our Dalston House listing
