Tennis Art Ball Exhibition

With Wimbledon fever having just started to take over our lives, not all the tennis action this summer is taking place on the courts. 12 artists will be showing the general public that you can do more with a tennis ball than merely striking it with  a racket, as they turn the little lime green rubber spheres into pieces of art.

The imaginatively named ‘Tennis Art Ball’ – in association with WJ London – have just launched a week-long pop-up exhibition on Broadwick Street in Soho to raise money for the Greenhouse Charity. The public are free to come along and browse the ballsy art on display, as well as test the limit of their creative talent in creating their own pieces of art to add to the TAB wall.

Rekorderlig will be providing free drinks, cake and ice-cream for a special free event tonight (June 27) to get bidders in the mood and raise as much money for Greenhouse as possible.

The exhibition is up until July 1. For more info, see their Facebook page. Find out more about Wimbledon.
