For one night only, New Jersey will be visiting the Book Club as tribute is paid to actor James Gandolfini, best known for his lead role as Italian mobster boss Tony Soprano in hit HBO series ‘The Sopranos’. Gandolfini suffered a sudden, fatal heart attack whilst holidaying in Rome on June 19, and Book Club fans have chosen three of their fave episodes of all time to be screened. The basement bar will be transformed into a cigar smoking den of card games and strong liquor. Well, the cigars will be candy, and the betting money will be fake but the drinks will be authentic and there will be food on offer from ‘The Sopranos Family Cookbook’. If you’re a fan of ‘The Sopranos’, swing by to raise a glass and salute James Gandolfini for one of the best character performances in television history.
