Hanging around the Underground may not be top of your ‘fun things to do’ list, but bear with us, we can guarantee that by the time you’ve finished reading this it will be right up there. Once again, the London Transport Museum is opening the usually firmly closed doors of Aldwych Station and inviting you, the dear folks of London, to take a step back in time on one of their annual tours. But this year it’s different; LTM has teamed up with Nexus Interactive Arts and have come up with a fully immersive experience that covers 150 years of the Tube. They’ll use film, audio and interactive installations to tell the fascinating stories of forgotten characters, people and places throughout the tour. Sounds pretty good to us! The tours start in September and will take roughly 75 minutes, costing you a hearty £25-£30. However, if you want to be one of the first people to see it, preview tours are available for August 30, 31 and September 1 for the lowly cost of £15. The tour usually sells out quickly so snap up your tickets now! Carly-Ann Clements
