Engage in some rather ghoulish creativity this Tuesday night (July 16) as the Art Macabre Drawing Salon turns to Egypt for its deadly inspiration. As part of its ‘death drawing’ classes, Chalk Like An Egyptian invites attendees to approach life drawing with a magic and morbid fascination. The evening will use death mask props and nude model mummies to resurrect the Ancient Egyptian culture of death and creature inspiring mythological and ritualistic tableaus. So raise your chalks to the cadaver, paint a pallid pharoah, sketch a skeleton or ink an ashen Osiris. Kitty Knowles
