It’s been six long years since Chiwetel Ejiofor last graced the London stage – winning himself a best actor Olivier in the process as he played the title role in ‘Othello’ at the Donmar Warehouse in 2007.  He’s spent the intervening half decade on the big and small screen – but as he makes his return to the theatre to play doomed Congolese statesman Patric Lumumba in the Young Vic’s ‘A Season in the Congo’, does he still have what it takes to cut it live?
