Riverside Gardens

Riverside Gardens, the new pint-sized park on the Thames’ south bank, is officially open. Recent development has transformed the previously inaccessible plot into a precious pocket of green for all to enjoy – the perfect sunspot to read a book, top up your tan, and grab a bite in your lunch break.

This lush little green space sports views over the river and of Battersea’s iconic power towers, and with hopes of encouraging new wildlife to settle in the area, who know what else you might spot. With the ‘pop up’ park by the Battersea Power Station, the reinvigorated Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens (a hot spot for outdoor film sessions), and a newly landscaped riverside park on its way, Nine Elms is a place to watch.
