One young gymnast has certainly put a spring in our step today, and it seems we aren’t the only ones head over heels for him. The trainee stuntman, who goes as #whereihandstand on Instagram, has 19,800 followers, and has inspired a global troupe of gymnastic go getters to post pictures of their own experimental handstand feats.
Here are our London faves….
On top of a London phone box – so iconic it just screamed to be handstood on…
Rockin’ out at Ruislip.
Oh so outstanding at the Olympic Park.
Tumbling at Trafalgar Square.
Trapeze practice on the the Circle Line.
Acrobatics at the iconic Alexandra Road Estate, Camden.
Balancing on the Millennium Bridge (glad it doesn’t wobble any more!)
The perfect roundoff – one handed at the London Eye.
Oh, and one for if you ever wondered how a stuntman irons his shirts…
And while we’re at it, here’s three global gym inspirations…
Performing at the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt.
18m below sea level. Clearly not an issue…
And yes, this is the Jackie Chan slab on Hollywood Boulevard, but I think we all know who the real star is in this picture!
