‘Let’s get toasted!’ might sound like the rallying cry for a debauched night on the town, but it’s nothing so uncivilised. It’s the name of a new ‘natural’ wine bar in East Dulwich, where you can drink wines that have been created with as little meddling as possible (they’re certainly intriguing, even if they can occasionally be a bit, err, whiffy). In the tradition of other ‘vins naturels’ specialists (such as Terroirs, or sister restaurant Soif), there’s well-crafted French cooking served in ‘petits plats’ alongside. All in a local neighbourhood spot. We’ll certainly toast to that.
