Something is brewing in the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich

Posted at 6:15 pm, July 30, 2013 in Food & Drink

There has been a proliferation of craft brewers popping up around the UK in the last couple of years, and a good thing too we say. But we’re not the only ones who’ve been getting into boutique beers. For your chance to try brews from the US and mainland Europe as well as the UK, head down to Meantime Brewery’s BrewFest taking place in the ground of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich on July 31, and August 3-4. There will be over 100 beers to sample, advice on beer and food pairing, plus discussions on different aspects of brewing. Soak it all up with US chilli and corn chips, Nuremberg sausages and mustard, or East end classic pie and mash with liquor. Cheers!

Sampling vouchers for BrewFest cost £15 on the day (£12 in advance) and entitle you to 6 beer tokens (a third of a pint per token), 1 food token, a programme and tasting notes for all the beers. Cash payments are also accepted. Find out more and book vouchers at meantimebrewing.com.
