Do you think shoes are boring? Converse do. Admittedly they’re definitely biased towards trainers, but in an attempt to convince you just how rocking their sneakers are, they’ve brought out a new range of rock-inspired Chuck Taylor range with all the stud and zipper punk excess you’d expect.
As part of the launch, Converse wearers are invited to complete the look and get inked at their pop-up tattoo parlour at The Circle, Noel Street, by one of four celebrated tattoo artists for three weeks from August 1. As an added bonus – what is the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle without guitars, after all? – they’ve have lined up free gigs throughout August from Canadian rockers Metz (of Sub Pop Records), Brit Metalers, Bring Me The Horizon, and Pure Love (formed by ex-Gallows frontman Frank Carter and former Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carroll).
