Floating Cinema

Why pay to see a film in a stuffy multiplex this summer when you can watch one on water? Following its success in 2011, the Floating Cinema is back on the Thames for 2013 with an exciting programme of on-board screenings and special events. Created by UP Projects, the converted canal boat’s ‘Extra-Ordinary’ new season launched at last weekend’s Open East Festival, and will be drift on until September around east London. Events include the ‘London Lost’ tour, a Horror Weekender with food and drinks and a fancy dress screening of Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie’. Just don’t forget your sea legs. Nikki Bonnett
