Is your local takeaway a shining example of food hygiene, or does that door hide a horror-show of cockroaches and salmonella?
You can now find out (if you dare) thanks to this glorious map of England’s eateries, with every single venue colour-coded according to their cleanliness rating from local food safety officers. (Apart from those in Greenwich, Newham and Waltham Forest, for some reason.) No doubt you’ll want to check out your usual lunchtime haunts and neighbourhood favourites – from now on, I’ll be indulging in more from the A-Star Fish Bar and a whole lot less from Na Pura.
