If you’re an avid reader of this here blog or a fan of food fun times, you’ll already be well acquainted with jellymongers Bompas & Parr. These boys sure like to play with their food and have previously created a gin and tonic tornado and done some incrEdible things with jelly, but have recently turned their mischievous attention to fruit. To accompany their current Tutti Frutti installation at Kew Gardens’ IncrEdibles, they’ve just put out their first self-published book, which ‘explores the gustatory implications of fruit salad’. ‘Tutti Frutti with Bompas & Parr and Friends’ is a juicy little publication full of photos that were apparently too explicit for their last publication, fruity recipes, architectural pineapples, facts (including ‘how blue became the international colour for raspberries’), history and art works.
