GamerDisco ‘StreetFighter Special’ at The Book Club

Street Fighter GamerDisco

Get your geek on for one kick-ass button bashing gaming session tonight as the Book Club gears up for the GamerDisco ‘StreetFighter Special’.

All hands will be on MadKatz TE Sticks (fancy-pants controllers) as the bar hosts big screen tournaments in honour of the new Ultra StreetFighter IV. Nintendo novices and seasoned gamers can also take it back to the old school with Yoshi, Mario and Princess Peach and play Super Mario Kart with Sami Cetin (the Mario Kart world champ no less), or simply indulge in some anarchic arcade gaming with the DoDonPachi high score competition.

No clue what we’re on about? Then drink at the bar and dance away your ignorance to the JetSetRory and GamerDisco DJs. Expect Chiptunes, Electro, and of course, nerd-worthy lineup of gaming themes. Kitty Knowles

The GamerDisco ‘StreetFighter Special’ will take place at The Book Club, Shoreditch, tonight, (August 7), 7.30pm-midnight. It is free!
