The Breakfast Club’s ’80s-themed birthday week will be, like, totally bitchin’

The Breakfast Club

For all those who don’t know, The Breakfast Club is not just a super scrummy food joint, but also a totally rad movie from the ’80s. Like, Oh My God right? And, in honour of their awesome eighties heritage, the BC’s brunch-time hotspots are retuning to that righteous decade to host a totally bitchin’ week-long eighth birthday party. We’re so stoked!

There will be a Beyond Retro dress up box and photobooth so you can rep your fave style icons (be that the bodacious Blondie, Bowie or Siouxsie Sioux), and you can expect to rattle on Rubik’s Cubes, bounce to the max in Space Hopp-o-rama, and throw shapes at fresh ’80s aerobics classes with FRAME. Totally. Tubular. With retro arcade machines for nerds, Connect 4 speed dating, film screenings, ’80s karaoke and silent discos and Lucky Troll Treasure Hunts (make sure to rub their bellies for a wish!), it is going to be bad-ass wicked. We’ll be generally wigging out over the nostalgic menu of ’80s food and drink – make mine a milkshake! Kitty Knowles

The week-long ’80s party will take place from August 19-24 at Breakfast Club venues in Soho, Angel, Hoxton, Spitalfields and Battersea Rise
