Join the big fat Greek deli revival happening in London

Greek Salad at Life Goddess

A new wave of Greek delis is bucking things up by importing artisanal Hellenic food to the Big Smoke. Carpo in Piccadilly is specialist, focusing on nuts, chocolate and coffee. Broader in its scope is Life Goddess in Bloomsbury, which has a proper café, traiteur and sells quality Greek wines. We’re also looking forward to Ergon, opening in early October between Selfridges and St Christopher’s Place. The original Ergons in Greece are slick, stylish delis (shelves packed with artisan oils, tuna from Alonnisos, specialist Greek-made products) and restaurants (contemporary and extremely good Greek food, open kitchen, cookery lessons).
