That Circle Line has always been a bit of a maverick. Just check out its bright yellow stylings, its booze bottle shape and the way it totally refuses to terminate anywhere (except for that new bit that goes to Hammersmith, obviously). Well from today, the hepcat of the London Underground network gets a little bit cooler, with the addition of brand new, walk-through, air-conditioned trains.
The news was announced via Transport for London’s Twitter, complete with a picture of the all-new commuter carriages, which look pretty much identical to the trains running on the London Overground network (see above). That’s no bad thing, though – those slick and spacious beasts offer one of the most comfortable rides in the city, even when it’s not disgustingly hot and humid outside.
