With temperatures soaring yet again this week, enjoy the end of what has been a gloriously sunny summer with a stroll by this field of sunflowers which have been planted at Potters Fields Park. The pop-up flowers, which can be spotted between City Hall and Tower Bridge, provide a gorgeous splash of colour next to the river. Try and forget that they’ve been planted there by margarine brand Flora, and instead pretend you’re skipping among the fields in the South of France. Turn up before 4.30pm today to receive your own sunflower to brighten up your kitchen at home.

Find the sunflowers at Potters Fields, Tower Bridge, SE1 2AA.
