With artisan bakers Flourish, handmade cheese makers Wildes and craft beer brewers Redemption in town, there’s enough artisan production going on in Tottenham to make a pretty mean ploughman’s plate. But getting your hands on it in the east of the borough is a serious mission. On Sunday September 8 one Tottenham resident is looking to put this right though by putting on The Tottenham Ploughman. In collaboration with the social enterprise Downhills Park Café, which helps adults with learning difficulties into work, this one day event will give locals the chance to meet the producers and sample their wares. There will be plates of bread, cheese and chutney, plus pints of Redemption beer on sale. There will also be music from Tottenham Community Choir and more.
Downhills Park Café, Downhills Park, Downhills Park Rd, N17 6PD. Noon-4pm. Find more information on the Facebook event page.
