Get fit while raving to early ’90s dance

Here at Time Out, we love rave. We’re rarely happier than when puzzling exactly what the Christ the lyrics of ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ means, or why if there really are no limits, 2 Unlimited had such a fondness for the word ‘no’. However, (and call us vain if you must) we also like to keep trim. Hence Time Out Live’s pop-up rave (in association with Fitness Freak). You turn up, you’re given glowsticks and UV paint, a live DJ spins classic ’90s dance for an hour and then you’re taken through a routine including big fish, little fish, cardboard box. Basically, it’s the most deliriously fun rave experience you can have short of investigating how true the chorus refrain to ‘Ebeneezer Goode’ is. And even better, this is legal.

Find out more about the Fitness Freak pop-up rave on September 17/18.
