Urban Food Fortnight

Urban Food Fortnight returns from September 14-29, with events right across London. The Fortnight is a celebration of – and showcase for – the production and cooking of fantastic food within the M25. You can take tea and cocktails at the allotment gardens in Regent’s Park while trying its just-plucked produce (Sept 15), dine under the stars – well, under plastic – as a banquet is being held in a polytunnel at Global Generation Skip Garden just north of King’s Cross (Sept 20), or go apis with a beekeeping course at Hawkwood Nursery in Chingford (Sept 21,22). Expect open allotments and pop-ups aplenty. Participating restaurants will also be championing local produce for the duration.
