Remember the grunge glory days? Can you recall when Nirvana headlined Reading Festival and ‘Nevermind’ knocked MJ off the number one spot? No? No matter, because Experience Cinema are offering all Kurt Cobain fans young and old the chance to relive one of the greatest gigs of all time. On Thursday September 19, Nirvana Live at Reading will be showing at Islington O2 Academy to honour the 20 year anniversary since Nirvana released their third and final studio album, ‘In Utero’. The huge screen and impressive sound and lighting will take you back to ’92 and attempt to recreate the electric atmosphere of this iconic gig. Stripy oversized jumpers and knackered jeans are optional.
