What did we think of David Walliams’s Bottom?

The starry new West End production of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ features Sheridan Smith as a spliff-toting queen of the fairies and David Walliams on very camp form as Bottom, the dimwit labourer who gets lucky after being turned into a donkey.

But under all the sexy bells and whistles that director Michael Grandage has added, is this priapic Shakespeare’s comedy any, y’know, fun? As part of the great Time Out Takeover we sent reader Charlotte Lytton, 22, from north London down to deliver her opinion on the show.
