The Drawn Chorus Collective’s artistic imaginings of circuses, freak shows and fairs make the world of the extraordinary seem even more intriguing. A sneak preview of the work of the 20 illustrators going on show this Wednesday (until Sept 23) in Battersea reveals an illustration of a woman dancing with a tiger and a two-headed lady wearing a black choker on each of her necks. If that’s not already enough to draw you in, the chorus themselves will be roaming the space in full costume, making you feel as if you’re trapped in a slightly terrifying, weird and wonderful dream. Think Angela Carter meets Dr Seuss through a kaleidoscope. Entry is free and there will also be a pop-up shop where you can buy prints, toys, tattoos, crafts and all manner of other curiosities. The Greatest Show on Earth  is at The Gallery on the Corner, 155 Battersea Park Road, London, SW8 4BU.
