We snuggled up with the Scandinavian art duo Elmgreen and Dragset for an exclusive chat about their latest commission. On a par with their other immersive installations that recreate familiar environments in unlikely settings, this intervention transforms the former V&A Textile galleries into a luxurious apartment inhabited by an elusive architect, Norman Swann. It’s filled with homely gems from the museum’s collection along with elements of previous Elmgreen and Dragset projects. From Oct 1, you too can peruse Swann’s home – see his unrealised architectural projects in the study and hang out on the living room’s Georgian sofas. But you can’t get into bed, that was a treat just for us. Freire Barnes
