Remember last summer when we took you on the never-ending nightmare of the infinite interchange? We used your instapics to create this virtual crossing cauchemar, including those of mobile photographer and Time Out reader Michael Strevens, who is now attempting to photograph all of London Underground’s 270 stations – using just his phone. Londoner Mike edits all his images on his iPhone and last December earned the title of ‘Photobox Mobile Photographer of the Year’ for his picture of Tottenham Court Road station. He began his Tube 270 project in August, spending his weekends visiting network peripheries like Cockfosters and Theydon Bois. He has now reached the magic halfway point, having photographed 135 of our commuting hubs, but with fatherhood imminent, he aims to complete the project by mid-November before new project baby begins. Ally Swadling

Keep up to date with Mike’s project at instagram.com/tube270; hear a song with all 270 Tube stations named in 3 minutes and read about the Guinness World Record breakers who travelled to each underground stop in the fastest time ever.
