Always had a closeted interest in taxidermy, but too scared to admit it? Well, it’s time to say ‘stuff  it’ (*groan*) and give it a go this weekend. At the Old Truman Brewery, you’ll be able to head to free classes on October 18, 19 or 20 where you can watch demonstrations by expert taxidermists before having a go yourself (classes cost £70). You’ll have the chance to make your own taxidermy masterpiece with either a mouse or a guinea pig, which you will learn how to correctly preserve before dressing your creation in mini-clothing and props to cutely/bizarrely mimic human activities. No former taxidermy experience is required and all materials are provided, so no bringing presents your cat has brought in for you.
