While Banksy and co. have pretty much done away with the old graffer stereotype of naughty hooded youths with marker pens, graffiti doesn’t need a big name attached to it to make us smile. Street art blogger Jenny Foulds has been documenting graffiti – from mind-blowing works of art to silly street scrawl – in her book, ‘Happy Graffiti’, a collection of 120 photos taken in and around London. The book covers everything from anonymous doodles to work by well-known graffiti artists, including Ben Eine’s east London lettering, Mobstr’s witicisms and Pure Evil’s kooky vampire rabbits.
