30 years ago, MJ rocked the world with his iconic ‘Thriller’ video. Let’s face it, the zombie thriller dance is never going to be a killer pulling move, but oh-em-gee is it fun. As it’s the 30th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s classic tune and Halloween is around the corner, you’re invited today (October 26) to do the Thriller dance on Heddon Street with thousands of other zombies. This year’s theme is ‘red’, and there’ll be make-up artists on and express dance classes during the day to get you prepared for the big moment at 10pm when you’ll be throwing the renowned dance moves simultaneously with the rest of the planet. The project has raised over $300, 000 for charity and has previously broken the world record for 22,956 funky zombies dancing at the same time around the world. To celebrate this year’s dancing feat, there’ll be a free after-party at the retro Strawberry Moons.
