‘Ping pong was invented on the dining tables of England in the 19th century. It was. And it was called wiff waff.’ Was BoJo’s infamous ‘fight them on the beaches’ moment at the 2008 Olympics responsible for the sport’s soaring profile in the UK? Probably not. Folks like Pop Up Ping Pong (PUPP), however, have made ping pong infinitely cooler, and you can join them on October 26 in the safety of a disused Post Office at 232 King’s Road, for a night of open ping pong and partying. You’ll be handed a free cocktail on arrival to steady your hands while west London pop-up burger joint #BRGR will be serving up their free-range beef burgers as well as cronuts and crack pie. You can also add to the interactive playlist so you can choose what songs you want to dance/ping along to. Costumes and zombie-resistant clothing is encouraged.  Ally Swadling
