Pete the dog

About this time of year, thousands of students start to re-evaluate their course choices, and begin to doubt whether all the costs and hard work are really worth it. We’re here to tell you that even though it might be ruff, even the most unlikely candidates can succeed.

This week saw the first ever honouring of a dog from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home (and we’re presuming anywhere else) with an MBA from a top university. Pete the lurcher enrolled as a student at the American University of London as part of a BBC Newsnight investigation into universities offering postgraduate qualifications in exchange for money. While it might not be legit, we’re still very pleased that it was another London first. Congratulations Pete, and try not to get too pissed at the graduation ball.
