Sing it from the rooftops at The View from The Shard

Singers from the London Community Gospel Choir

Singing in the rain? Singing in the shower? How about singing at the top of western Europe’s tallest building? How about exclusive access to The View from the Shard to perform a concert for 170 guests? Well, that’s the prize for the winner of Sing it from the Rooftops, a competition being launched by The View from The Shard.

Singing groups from all genres (max 20 people) are invited to enter via Facebook until November 15, after which, selected groups will be chosen to compete in heats taking place throughout December. Videos of each group will then be put to a public vote (on Facebook), to choose the three finalists. The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges – from the local community and special guests – at the grand final taking place on December 23. The lucky winner will be announced on Christmas Eve. Think of it like the groups round of ‘The X Factor’ but more tuneful and with serious altitude.

If you’d like to enter (or vote) visit The View from The Shard’s Facebook page. Tickets for Sing it from the Rooftops heats can be purchased online
