Love life need a lift? Desperate to bag a nice bird? Heart lacking any flutter? Yes, all these bird puns are necessary because we’re talking about the ornithological Twitchers Club, the latest night on the dating scene.

On Saturday 16 November, let the RSPLB (that’s the The Royal Society for the Pursuit of Love Birds to you and me) be your guide to find a mate for life (or just the the evening) at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club. But the bird metaphors don’t end there. They promise guided twitching, mating dances, intimate lapwing dances, Twitcher Discotheque DJs and general love life advice. No, we’re not sure what half of this entails either but we reckon it’s worth a flutter. Dress Code: Twitchers & Common Garden Birds (of course).
