Has Fido been good this year? If so, he’s in luck. Santa Paws is coming to town! Yes, you read it here first: London is about to get its first pop-up Christmas grotto for dogs.
At Santa Paws Christmas grotto your pet will get to meet the jolly, hairy one (that’s Santa Paws), fill a stocking, wolf down a (dog’s) Christmas dinner and snaffle mince pies and mulled wine (although ‘whine’ might be more like it by the time they’ve ploughed through all the nosh on offer). They’ll get to dress up in festive fancy dress (as a reindog, perhaps?), get snapped at the ‘face in hole’ board (or muzzle in this case), and be pampered with a doggy massage.
While your mutt is drooling over all that furry festive fun, you can slip off and pick up a few pooch-related presents from a selection of doggy gifts on offer. And because Christmas is also the season of goodwill, for every dinner purchased in the grotto, Lily’s Kitchen (the organic pet food purveyors behind the event) will donate a nutritious Christmas dinner to a dog in need through London charity All Dogs Matter. Dog rest ye merry gentlemen…
Santa Paws Grotto is open from November 28–December 21 at 67, Pimlico Road, SW1 W8LJ. For more details call Lily’s Kitchen on 0207 433 1863.
