Whether it’s the eerie lack of people late at night or your face being greeted by an armpit on the Central line, the tube can be a scary place. Cue the ever-speculative London Fortean Society, who on November 28 will be delving into the creepiest urban legends of the Underground.
Scott Wood, the author of “London Urban Legends: The Corpse of the Tube” will be at the ghostly Bell pub to dissect some of the whispered tales of strange happenings on the tube. From corpses riding on the trains to news of enemy bomb attacks – this event will either put your mind to rest or conjure up a new world of worry. Ally Swadling
