December. It’s a time for office parties, too many mince pies and Christmas shopping. The latter is dreaded by all sane people, with thousands descending on Oxford Street, rushing from shop to shop with a desperate look on their face that says ‘the end is nigh’. On Sunday December 8, York Hall will be converted into a Christmas shopping craft dream come true. There will be over 65 vendors, music by Madame Frou Frou and free goodie bags for the first 100 through the door. London’s top sustainable fashion designers will be setting up the first ‘Boobtique’ to promote ethical fashion consuming and you can even enter a charity raffle to be in the running for some fantastic prizes. It’s about time Christmas shopping got fun.
